Chianti is one of the most loved and known areas of Tuscany, for the undeniable beauty of the landscape, shaped by vineyards and olive groves, and for its charming villages rich in history.

The time has come to explore the famous Chianti region, here scenery and wine tasting are the order of the day!
I recommend taking a car to get to Chianti so you are free to move around the neighbouring villages; otherwise take bus 365 near the SMN station in Florence and for the return journey, don't worry, most buses stop in Florence.
If you have already arrived in Greve in Chianti, it means that you have already passed through a fabulous landscape surrounded by curves and vineyards and, I confess, it is one of my favourite parts.
Also, if you arrive on a Saturday, you will find the old market in Piazza Matteotti, the focal point of the town, surrounded by the portico that serves as a backdrop for the shops, artisans' workshops and restaurants located under the arches. If you pass through Greve in September, you cannot miss Expo Chianti classico 2023, an event in which all the producers of chianti take to Piazza Matteotti to have their products tasted.
