Perhaps one of the most famous places in Liguria, we can only invite you to visit the Cinque Terre.
Everything you need to know before visiting Cinque Terre:
Eighteen kilometers of rocky coast rich in bays, beaches and deep seabed, dominated by a chain of mountains that run parallel to the coast.
Terraces are cultivated with vines and olive trees, whose containment is ensured by ancient dry stone walls.
A natural heritage of great variety. Paths and breathtaking views.
Five villages, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso, overlooking the sea.
An environment in which the centuries-old work of generations has transformed an inaccessible territory into a landscape of extraordinary beauty.
A Marine Protected Area and a National Park that protect its absolute uniqueness.
The Cinque Terre, was declared by UNESCO in 1997 World Heritage Site.
The Cinque Terre are: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
Of these Monterosso, Vernazza and Riomaggiore are common, while Corniglia and Manarola are respectively fractions of Vernazza and Riomaggiore.
One of the most unspoiled natural Mediterranean areas, the Cinque Terre never ceases to amaze!
