Open-air art is definitely the Garden of Daniel Spoerri; it is not easy to define it in a few words, certainly it represents one of the greatest masters in contemporary art in the ready-made, in the use of reusable objects, waste of the industrial society to which it gives a new life, and often also new communicative values.

Spoerri is an inexhaustible source of initiatives around the work of art ready-made in multiple meanings. The most demanding, total and immersive work, however, remains the sculpture park of the Garden.

There are both sculptural works, many bronzes always characterized by the assembly of waste (ready-made) objects, and environmental interventions, where the rooting to the space and the surrounding context is an essential component of the work as in the Path labyrinths forms, or in Onphalon The enclosure of the liocorni.

3 Outdoors

In the municipality of Dicomano there is one of the main archaeological sites of the whole Mugello. The archaeological area of San Martino a Poggio, with the Frascoli Archaeological Excavations, offers the public a truly special visit within an archaeological area that is daily being explored.

Through the excavations, the presence of the remains of a Romanesque church of the thirteenth century, the church of San Martino, but more than anything else it is striking for the importance of a structure that can be placed in the Hellenistic period.

 These findings have led to two hypotheses: one sees in these four meters of Etruscan walls an unfinished temple, while the other, now more widespread, identifies the ancient building with a probable fortified residence.
