Description
Located on the second floor of an ancient building, with elevator, in via della Colonna, in the most elegant and residential area of the historic center, sought after for its proximity to monuments and museums, and well served by bars, restaurants, groceries and characteristic Florentine shops.
The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people in 85m2. (915 sq. ft.) well divided into entrance, double bedroom with dressing room, living room with dining area and double sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom with shower.
Outdoor
The modernization works (including air conditioning) saved the architectural structure: the frescoed ceiling of the living room and the coffered ceiling decorations of the bedroom are really valuable.
Attractions
Less than a 10-minute walk away are all the most important Renaissance monuments, as well as the Sant'Ambrogio market and the Santa Maria Novella train station.
During the Renaissance, this area was the cultural center of Florence, Italy and the world!
The area overflows with humanity especially around the stalls that are spread around the Central Market, which is also very populated inside.
On the ground floor there is still the ancient market, where you can buy typical Florentine food products (don't forget to taste the lampredotto and finocchiona!), while on the first floor restaurants and street food follow one another in a unique socializing environment where everyone can eat at the same table!
The other face of the neighborhood is that of the Medici family who left humanity majestic works such as the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the family's seat for decades, the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapels, an extraordinary family mausoleum.
An obligatory stop on every visit to Florence is the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, also known as the Duomo with its wonderful dome by Brunelleschi, adorned by the Baptistery > and from the adjacent Giotto's Bell Tower: many steps are absolutely worth climbing to admire a breathtaking view!
But don't forget to visit Piazza Santa Croce and get lost in the streets of the historic center among its ancient shops, its cafes and trattorias offering typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine.
Those who choose to live in this area will find a wide range of food shops, pastry shops, bakers and much more.
Parking
If you wish to use the car to get to the apartment, we advise you to book the nearest garage, in order to obtain a temporary access permit through one or more ZTL doors.
You can go directly to the apartment to unload your luggage and then, within 3 hours of your first access to the ZTL, go to the garage, which reports your license plate on the "white list" (at a cost of € 1,00) for regular access without sanctions.

Interior Description
The elevator arrives at the second floor, where an ancient iron gate leads us to a common entrance compartment.
An armored door gives us access to the apartment and its small and charming entrance, furnished with a nice console, which connects us to all the other rooms.
The large modern room has a beautiful frescoed ceiling, two bright windows, a fireplace (design only), a dining table (for 6 people), a >desk with seat and Kartell lamp (excellent for smart working), a beautiful sideboard with smart TV and a double sofa bed (160 cm wide) with its wardrobe. The floor is parquet and the refined furnishings are completed by a designer mirror, an antique clock on the wall and two finely elaborate rugs.
The eat-in kitchen is equipped with a breakfast table and stools for 2 people, a bright window, 4 gas burners, traditional oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, espresso coffee machine (with pods supplied), pots, plates and crockery and any other useful accessory for a gourmet kitchen.
The flooring, in white and blue ceramics, has a cheerful and modern tone.
The room, with decorated wooden ceiling with coffers, has a double bed, two bright windows, a designer armchair, a smart TV and a large dressing room wardrobe . The floor is parquet covered with ancient carpets.
The bathroom is decorated in gray and white marble, which gives a refined tone. It is equipped with a toilet, bidet, large shower, comfortable mirror above the sink, and storage room for washing machine, brooms, vacuum cleaner...
dispensers with soap for hands and showers are available to guests.
The heating is by radiators. The air conditioning splits (hot/cold) are three, one in each room to obtain an immediate and optimal temperature both in winter and summer. To avoid unnecessary energy waste, the air conditioning and heating are centralized, but if you want to adjust them manually, we give you the option to do so.
The rental property is equipped with bed, bathroom and kitchen linen, but it is not an accommodation facility, therefore, by law, are not allowed any personal services such as reception, supply of meals and drinks, extra cleaning and extra change of linen during the period.

The property was ultra clean, thoroughly modernized and at an excellent location, just 5-7min on foot away from Duomo and in a very quiet neighborhood! You could walk the old Florence city on foot and reach everywhere, yet have the comfort similar to your own home. The home was modern and fully equipped and the living room was very spacious and ultra comfortable. As I was also working in the property, the WiFi speed was over 800mpbs (!) at all times, making my call-conferences and AI work over the cloud a joy! I suspect it had a gigabit Internet connection :-) The property was easily accessible through an elevator yet had this high-ceiling and long windows that you cherish, from the older eras! I could not praise the property more, as everything exceeded our expecations. We stayed for two whole weeks and it was the best choice we could possibly make. Highly recommended!

Daniele's appartment makes us feel like home. The only downside I guess it's hard to get my daughters out of the comfortable appartment and go outside and explore Florence. The apartment is exactly like the photos, and it was super clean and smelling so good when we arrived! The check in process is super easy, the hosts are helpful and the apartment is amazing. We were in 4, so we used the sofa bed and it was really comfortable. The apartment has an amazing size and the air conditioning is excellent. The building also has elevator! The location is also a plus! It’s near the duomo and you can actually do everything by foot. We had an amazing time and would come back for sure!

The bedroom does not have blackout blinds, there are some wooden shutters but there are a few probably got stuck and we couldn’t close. Not a big issue as we get up early in the morning.

The bed was excellent, we have been travelling in Greece and Italy and this was the most comfortable bed in the two weeks of our travelling. Having a lift and washing machine was appreciated (it was one of the reasons we booked it), the apartment was spacious and was within 15 minutes walking distance to all the sights and many restaurants. The wifi was excellent and we able to use netflix easily.
Everything was as promised in the photos and accommodation information.

Perfect base from which to explore Florence! The apartment was perfect, beautifully furnished in a lovely building a few minutes walk away from the historic centre. Being so close to the centre of Florence it was still quiet and peaceful at night. Everything was within walking distance, including a great range of bars, cafes and restaurants. Ottima posizione, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore e da altri luoghi. L'interno è davvero ordinato e l'appartamento è dotato di molti comfort, tra cui una macchina per il caffè. Qui è possibile lavare i vestiti in lavatrice.
In qualche modo non ho visto la carta igienica.

The apartment is quite large, has a closet with luggage rack, the kitchen has all the necessary crockery, the sofa bed is large and comfortable. The apartment has been renovated and has good soundproofing. The location is good, close to the Duomo, and there is a bus stop one block away.
For people in wheelchairs, there are two steps at the entrance door, two more to the elevator, and two more to enter the apartment hall.

The hotel is well-equipped and the service is excellent. We arrived early and were not made to wait. It was very considerate to be able to check in early. It is about a 3-minute walk to the bus station and about a 10-minute drive to various attractions and the train station. The transportation is very convenient.

Very good accommodation service, the cleanliness of the indoor space made us think we were the first group of guests to check in. Because we were not familiar with Italian kitchen appliances and air conditioning adjustment, we received very good responses, even in the middle of the night. The accommodation is very convenient. It is a good place to experience life. Especially when we bring our elders out, it is not suitable for long transportation. Living here is very convenient and the price is very reasonable.

Very spacious apartment. Convenient location and very walkable to everything. We would absolutely recommend this apartment and would stay here again. Such a lovely place. The owner was very agreeable about working with us to drop off our luggage. Much appreciated so we didn't have to drag everything around. Very spacious place.
The temperature was hot inside the apartment. We were able to sleep, but it was muggy. We traveled in June so the temps were rising. Our time in the apartment was little so it didn't impact us too much.

Daniele è stato un ospite molto disponibile. Il posto era pulito e abbiamo apprezzato tutte le app che si potevano usare sulla TV. Non troppo lontano dal centro. Buon bar locale (Caffè Michelangelo). Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno.
Il divano letto era un po' traballante. I cuscini erano troppo piatti. Sarebbe stato meglio se fossero state fornite le cialde di caffè.

Siamo felici che abbiate apprezzato la pulizia dell’appartamento, la comodità delle app sulla TV e la posizione vicino al centro. È sempre un piacere sapere che i nostri ospiti si trovano bene e che i consigli locali, come il Caffè Michelangelo, siano stati graditi.
Ci dispiace per il disagio con il divano letto e i cuscini: prenderemo sicuramente nota per migliorare ulteriormente il comfort. Quanto alle cialde di caffè, grazie per il suggerimento! Stiamo valutando di includerle per rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

The apartment is beautiful!! Spotless and with everything you need to spend a few days in Florence. Close to everything, location is perfect. Danielle was a very attentive host and check-in was very simple which is appreciated as we arrived at midnight.

Consigliatissimo! Uno dei nostri migliori soggiorni. Non nel pieno delle cose ma nel raggio di un paio di isolati. L'appartamento è esattamente come mostrato nelle foto, il che è assolutamente incantevole. Ci ha fatto desiderare di averla. L'appartamento ha una cucina ben fornita se si voleva cucinare ma ci siamo trovati bene a cenare fuori. Abbiamo usato le tazze, il bollitore elettrico e la macchina Nespresso. Abbiamo apprezzato il lusso di avere un ascensore per i bagagli e dopo giorni di camminate. Tenete presente che ci sono ancora delle scale da fare, 2 gradini per entrare nell'edificio, 2 gradini per arrivare all'ascensore e 2 gradini per entrare nell'unità. Il letto era super comodo. Daniele è stato molto disponibile.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay at this flat in Florence. The decoration was tasteful, creating a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Everything was spotless, and the cleanliness was impeccable.
The flat was very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a long stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped. As I was in Florence for business, I also appreciated the late check-in and the excellent Wi-Fi.
The location was ideal—close to all the main attractions.
I highly recommend this place, whether for business or leisure, and will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip.

Our adopted home in Firenze. We could unpack properly in the large walk-in robe. We had a kitchen to use when we wanted and a lounge to read and recover from a busy day. The apartment was superb. The host was fabulous and so friendly. Bus stops out the front. Everything is close by. Perfetto ????????

The apartment was very clean and spacious! The kitchen had all the plates, cups, utensils, pots and pans needed to cook and the appliances were brand new. Our bed was very spotless and comfy. It was in a very quiet area and walkable to everything! Everything was communicated to us clearly and easily. There were tons of recommendations in the booklet at the apartment and we appreciated all the tips!
