Description
It is located in Viareggio, in the residential neighbourhood called ex Airfield, 300 meters away. from the pine forest.
The access road to your accommodation is very quiet and all the services are nearby: children's playground, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, greengrocer, supermarket, bus stop... The car can be parked for free on the street.
The 4-storey condominium has an elevator. On the first floor, there is our apartment, with a terrace overlooking the green school garden.
Our opinion: nice apartment, in a quiet condominium near the pine forest, from which you can easily reach the sea. Suitable for a family with two children or a group of friends who love nature, the pine forest and the sea. But also the nightlife of Viareggio's Liberty promenade, which is only 1,700 meters away, can be easily reached by bicycle.
Attractions
On the beach, there are equipped bathing establishments with paid access and services of umbrellas, deckchairs, cabins, restaurants, swimming pools... On average, an umbrella with two deckchairs costs from €25.00 per day. But there is also a free beach, with free access and bathing: the most famous is the Lecciona beach.
Just 300 meters from your accommodation there is the Levante pine forest with children's playgrounds, inflatables, table football, trampolines...
At just 1,700 m. there is the Viareggio promenade, the centre of nightlife and shopping. But also the western pine forest with a beautiful pedestrian avenue surrounded by greenery, full of attractions for the little ones.
A few km. to the south is Torre del Lago Puccini which overlooks Lake Massaciuccoli (an oasis where you can go on pleasant boat excursions), with its famous open-air theatre named after Giacomo Puccini, and the house museum where the Maestro wrote some of his most famous works.
The Puccini Festival takes place in July and August: you can attend performances of Puccini's famous operas in the open-air theatre on the lake.
For mountain lovers, a few km. there are the Apuan Alps, with paths, refuges and peaks (over 2,000 metres) from which to admire breathtaking views.
The main attractions in the surrounding area are:
- Pisa: Piazza dei Miracoli and Leaning Tower.
- Viareggio: the liberty seafront, the long beach and the pine forest
- Forte dei Marmi: the most fashionable clubs, the big fashion brands, the exclusive clubs
- Pietrasanta (known as “Little Athens”): art, good food and fun.
- Lucca: the city of 100 churches, surrounded by 4 km of perfectly preserved medieval walls.
- Florence: the cradle of the Renaissance, art, culture and good food.
- Cinque Terre: a unique route in the world between villages overlooking the sea

The terrace overlooks the greenery: excellent for relaxing in the cool.

Our host, Michela, was lovely. Very helpful with lots of information, nothing is too much trouble. The apartment is a little dated but clean it has very good wardrobe space and the air conditioning was a godsend. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. We found the shower space to be a bit claustrophobic, the shower curtain was a nuisance. The description of a ‘panoramic terrace’ is a trifle misleading, in reality it’s a narrow balcony. The area is quiet and clean with good amenities just a short stroll down the street. On the whole, we had a pleasant stay and are very thankful to Michela for her help.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Mit dem Mietfahrrad nahe zum Strand und in die Stadt. Die Besitzerin ist super nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Auch die Korrespondenz mit Belcanto, Daniele ging immer sehr schnell. Beim Check-in würde helfen, wenn es einen Beschrieb gäbe, wie man die Wohnungs-Tür mit den zwei Schlössern öffnen kann. Die Wohnung ist klein aber sehr praktisch. Das Bett sehr gut. Auf dem Balkon wären bequemere Stühle und ein Esstisch ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Wir können die Wohnung für 2 Personen empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella proprietà in quattro e ci siamo trovati tutti benissimo. La casa è situata in una zona logisticamente comoda, vicino sia alla stazione che a molti supermercati; se siete in macchina, il parcheggio sotto alla casa è gratuito e facile da trovare. La casa è spaziosa, molto pulita e in ordine. Assolutamente degno di menzione è la disponibilità dei proprietari: chiarissimi nelle spiegazioni, molto gentili e sempre pronti a rispondere ad ogni esigenza. Consigliatissimo

L’appartamento di Daniele corrisponde alla descrizione dell’annuncio. Il self check in è molto pratico, permette di accedere all’appartamento quando si desidera dopo l’orario di check in. Sfortunatamente al nostro arrivo faceva temporale e abbiamo richiesto di accedere un po’ in anticipo, cosa che ci è stata gentilmente concessa. La posizione è ottima se si ha l’auto, permette di raggiungere la spiaggia Lecciona in 10 minuti di auto, ed il centro di Viareggio in 5 minuti. Ottimo il parcheggio gratuito sotto casa, cosa rara in una città dove la maggior parte dei parcheggi sono a pagamento. La comunicazione con Daniele è stata facile e tutto si è svolto in modo semplice e lineare. Molto apprezzata anche l’aria condizionata e i ventilatori a soffitto. Esperienza positiva in tutto. Grazie!

La casa si trova in una zona tranquilla ed è dotata di ogni comfort. Lo spazio interno è ottimizzato da una simpatica finestra passavivande tra la cucina e il soggiorno. Il mare e la pineta son vicini, così come la storica Villa Borbone e la pizzeria " La Lecciona" che si affacciano sul Viale dei Tigli.
Siamo stati davvero bene e torneremo ancora.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana indimenticabile presso questa splendida casa a Viareggio. La casa è davvero incantevole, esattamente come descritta e come appare nelle foto. Gli interni sono arredati con gusto, spaziosi e dotati di ogni comfort. Le camere sono ampie e i letti molto comodi, perfetti per riposarsi dopo una giornata al mare o in giro per la Toscana.
La posizione è fantastica, a pochi minuti dal mare e dal centro di Viareggio, il che rende facile godersi le giornate in spiaggia e le serate in città.
I proprietari sono stati estremamente disponibili e gentili, sempre pronti a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda e a dare consigli utili sulla zona.
Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!
